Cultural Onboarding

Cultural Onboarding is the process of getting new employees into the organization's culture, values, and work environment during the first few weeks when they start their job. It is one of the most important processes in human resource management. Cultural onboarding initiatives are created to acquaint new hires with the organization’s mission, vision, norms, and expectations; strengthen its values; create an environment where staff members are engaged, and committed to the realization of the organization mission and goals.

First of all, cultural onboarding is one of the primary goals of the Company XYZ because its employees should blend in with the corporate environment appropriately and coherently. Complimentary orientation, team-building activities, and cultural immersion events are some of the activities which take place during the onboarding of the new recruits to give them a sense of the company's history, the culture, and the relationships among employees.

Also, Company XYZ allots mentors/buddy systems to the newcomers in order to give help, support and understandings for the crew while improving its culture and formation of norms. From the moment they start a job, ongoing communication, periodic feedback and the development of engagement tactics will help new hires feel valued, connected and motivated to fully contribute to the organization.
