About the Role

We’re looking for a dynamic Ramp Agent to ensure safe and efficient aircraft ground operations. As the bridge between aircraft and airport logistics, you’ll handle baggage, guide planes, and maintain safety protocols. This role requires physical stamina, teamwork, and a safety-focused mindset.

Ramp Agent Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Load and unload passenger baggage, cargo, and mail from aircraft
• Operate ground service equipment (e.g., baggage carts, pushback tugs)
• Collaborate with ground crew to ensure on-time aircraft departures
• Marshal aircraft to and from gates using hand signals or equipment
• Perform safety checks and maintain clean ramp areas
• Report equipment issues or safety hazards to supervisors promptly
• Follow FAA, TSA, and airline safety regulations and procedures
• Align tasks with flight schedules and operational goals
• Communicate operational updates to team members and supervisors

Ramp Agent Qualifications and Skills

• Strong physical endurance and manual dexterity
• Basic understanding of airport operations and safety protocols
• Excellent teamwork and situational awareness
• Experience operating ground service equipment
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and irregular shifts
• Strong communication and time-management skills
• Safety-conscious and detail-oriented approach

Education and Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience in ramp operations, logistics, or related roles
• Familiarity with airport ground handling procedures
• Valid driver’s license; experience with heavy equipment is a plus
• Certifications like FAA safety training or OSHA are a plus
