About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and board-certified Cardiologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in diagnosing cardiovascular conditions, managing long-term heart-related illnesses, and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide outstanding cardiac care.

Cardiologist Responsibilities and Duties

• Diagnose and manage patients with cardiovascular diseases and disorders
• Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests such as echocardiograms, EKGs, and stress tests
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans and monitor patient progress
• Perform non-invasive and/or interventional procedures (as per specialization)
• Advise patients on preventive cardiology and lifestyle changes
• Collaborate with internal medicine physicians, surgeons, and other specialists
• Document medical histories, procedures, and progress accurately
• Participate in continuing education and stay current with medical research and guidelines

Cardiologist Qualifications and Skills

• Deep understanding of cardiovascular health and treatment protocols
• Strong diagnostic, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication, patient care, and counseling skills
• Ability to work in high-pressure clinical environments
• Familiarity with cardiac imaging, invasive techniques, and EMR systems
• Dedication to ethical, high-quality, and evidence-based care

Education and Experience Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)
• Completed residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Cardiology
• Board certification in Cardiology (required)
• Valid state medical license to practice
• 3+ years of experience in clinical cardiology or hospital settings (preferred)
