About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated foreman to supervise daily work activities and ensure job sites or production areas operate efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate has solid technical skills, leadership experience, and a strong understanding of industry best practices.

Foreman Responsibilities and Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers on site or in the shop
• Assign tasks, manage schedules, and ensure timely project completion
• Enforce safety procedures and company policies
• Inspect work for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications
• Communicate project updates to managers and stakeholders
• Train new team members and mentor less experienced workers
• Monitor supply inventory and request materials as needed
• Troubleshoot problems and resolve on-site issues efficiently

Foreman Qualifications and Skills

• Strong leadership and team coordination skills
• Solid knowledge of construction methods or industrial processes
• Familiarity with tools, equipment, and safety standards
• Excellent communication and decision-making abilities
• Ability to read blueprints, technical documents, or work orders
• Physical stamina and attention to detail

Education and Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Trade certification or vocational training preferred
• 3+ years of experience in the relevant industry (e.g., construction, manufacturing)
• Prior experience in a supervisory or lead role
