About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and dependable Paramedic to join our emergency response team. In this critical role, you will provide advanced pre-hospital care, assess patient conditions, and respond rapidly to medical emergencies. The ideal candidate will be calm under pressure, clinically competent, and committed to saving lives in diverse and dynamic environments.

Paramedic Responsibilities and Duties

• Respond promptly to emergency calls and assess the nature of injuries or illnesses
• Provide advanced life support (ALS) including airway management, defibrillation, and medication administration
• Stabilize patients and prepare them for safe transport to hospitals or trauma centers
• Monitor patient vitals and maintain detailed care records
• Operate and maintain emergency response vehicles and equipment
• Communicate with medical staff at receiving facilities to ensure continuity of care
• Comply with protocols, safety guidelines, and medical regulations
• Educate patients and families during medical and non-emergency situations
• Collaborate with law enforcement, firefighters, and healthcare teams as needed

Paramedic Qualifications and Skills

• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills in high-pressure situations
• Proficiency in advanced life support techniques and emergency care procedures
• Physical stamina and ability to lift/move patients and equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Knowledge of emergency medical protocols, drug administration, and patient care documentation
• Ability to remain calm and act quickly in crisis scenarios

Education and Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Current certification as a Nationally Registered Paramedic (NRP) or equivalent state licensure
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
• CPR certification from an accredited provider
• 2+ years of experience in EMS, emergency care, or pre-hospital patient management preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
