About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist to join our medical imaging department. In this role, you will operate advanced imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images that assist healthcare providers in identifying and treating medical conditions. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, technically skilled, and committed to patient safety and care quality.

Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities and Duties

• Operate X-ray, CT, or MRI machines to produce diagnostic images
• Prepare patients for procedures and explain the imaging process
• Follow safety protocols to protect patients and staff from radiation exposure
• Position patients correctly and ensure optimal image quality
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment
• Work closely with radiologists and physicians to evaluate imaging results
• Keep accurate patient records and documentation
• Monitor patients during procedures and report any adverse reactions
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and uphold patient confidentiality

Radiologic Technologist Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in operating radiographic equipment and imaging systems
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and radiographic positioning
• Knowledge of radiation protection principles and procedures
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to follow precise instructions and work under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Team-oriented and adaptable to fast-paced clinical environments

Education and Experience Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
• State licensure (if applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• 1–3 years of experience in a clinical radiology setting preferred
