Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced construction project manager to lead and supervise construction projects from conception through completion. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, the ability to manage budgets and schedules, and a thorough understanding of construction methods, safety standards, and project documentation.

Construction Project Manager Responsibilities and Duties

• Plan, budget, and oversee all aspects of construction projects
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors
• Ensure project milestones and deadlines are met
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and work timetables
• Enforce safety regulations and quality standards on-site
• Manage the procurement of materials and supplies
• Monitor construction progress and prepare status reports
• Handle change orders and resolve on-site issues promptly
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Communicate with stakeholders and clients throughout the project lifecycle

Construction Project Manager Qualifications and Skills

• Strong leadership and project management abilities
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures and regulations
• Excellent budgeting, scheduling, and reporting skills
• Proficient with construction software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, AutoCAD)
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to solve problems and manage multiple priorities

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in construction project management
• PMP or similar certification is a plus
• OSHA safety certification preferred
• Proven track record of completing projects on time and within budget
