About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented radiologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting medical images to diagnose patient conditions, consulting with referring physicians, and contributing to the overall treatment plan. You will work with advanced imaging technologies and provide critical insights that directly impact patient outcomes.

Radiologist Responsibilities and Duties

• Interpret diagnostic imaging tests such as X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, ultrasounds, and PET scans
• Communicate findings to referring physicians and collaborate on treatment strategies
• Perform image-guided procedures such as biopsies or drain placements if required
• Maintain accurate and timely radiology reports in compliance with healthcare standards
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to radiation safety protocols
• Stay current with advancements in imaging technologies and radiology practices
• Participate in case reviews and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Provide second opinions and consultations when requested
• Supervise radiologic technologists and contribute to department best practices

Radiologist Qualifications and Skills

• Excellent diagnostic and analytical abilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to interpret complex images
• Proficiency with PACS, RIS, and other imaging systems
• Knowledge of radiation safety standards and procedures
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple cases
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical standards

Education and Experience Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Completion of residency in radiology
• Board certification in radiology (ABR or equivalent)
• State medical license and radiology credentials as required
• Subspecialty fellowship training (e.g., neuroradiology, interventional radiology) is a plus
• 2+ years of post-residency experience preferred
